Middle Academy Athlete Sign Out Protocol on Game Days! - On game days, Middle Academy athletes will be dismissed at the designated release time and change into their uniforms in Middle Academy restrooms, not in the gym locker rooms or Building 5.

If the game release time for their team is before/at 2:45, parents/guardians may park in the right lane of the carpool line by the window side of the Middle Academy.  They will need to go into the office to initial out their student.  Once the student is initialed out, the parents/guardians may wait for the student-athlete in the lobby or in their car.  Cars parked in the carpool lane need to be moved by 3:00. 

If the game release time for their team is after 2:45, parents/guardians should park between modular Building 5 and the trees along the highway.  This will ensure their vehicle does not block the carpool line and will make leaving campus easier for them.  Parents/guardians will need to go to the middle school office to initial out their student.  Once the student is initialed out, the parents/guardians may wait for the student-athlete in the lobby or in their car. 

For their safety, student-athletes will NOT be allowed to leave the Middle Academy lobby until the adult taking them to their game has initialed them out.  If a student-athlete leaves campus for a game without being initialed out, the coach and parents/guardians of the student will be contacted by the office.  

Parents/guardians with non-athlete sibling(s) that also need to be signed out for a game may do so even after the "no sign out time" of 2:45 for Middle Academy.  Remember the latest you can sign out an Elementary student is 2:30.  If you need to sign an Elementary student out later than 2:30 because of a Middle Academy game, you will need to contact Amanda Boykin at the Elementary front desk to make arrangements.
