Men's HS Hoops:
Interest Meeting: Wednesday, 9/19 during lunch in the Dining Hall.
Trackout: The schedule has been posted to the Varsity page under "Team Files." Notice there are weight room times and on court times.
Tryouts: Thursday, October 18th - Saturday, October 20th. Make plans accordingly. Times TBD around Volleyball playoff schedule.

Next Workout: Thursday, 9/20 6:30-7:30 AM Weightlifting. Friday, 9/21 6:30-7:30 AM Weightlifting.

Men's HS Hoops: Monday, 9/3 NO Weightlifting. NO On-Court.
Men's HS Hoops: August/September Weightlifting and On-Court schedule has been provided under the Varsity Men's Team Files. All attendance for Weightlifting and On-Court is 100% optional. Check "August Updated" schedule.
Under Men's Varsity Basketball Team Files you will find the August Weight Lifting Schedule. This will be weight room ONLY as we are still under the High School Dead Period for non-fall sports. When the Dead Period is over, we can get back to basketball skill development. Make sure you read the schedule carefully as 1 week is different from the rest.
Thank you to all that were available for our summer workout program. We will not get together again until you are back in school due to the NCHSAA Dead Period in July.
DO NOT waste the next 3 weeks! If you don't continue to lift/exercise then you will go back to square 1 after 2 weeks off! If you're unable to get to a gym, do body weight exercises. (Google/YouTube)
Every day you should work on dribbling/ball handling skills - use YouTube!
There are 6 workouts for the next 2 weeks uploaded to 'Team Files' on the Men's Varsity Basketball home page.
Remember: You MUST - Warm up before lifting. Use a spotter. Also, don't lift heavy weights, keep it lighter and finish your sets!
I will be out of NC for the next 2 weeks, if you have any questions feel free to email me, but don't expect a quick response. Enjoy the rest of your summer, we look forward to getting back to work at the beginning of the school year.
Men's HS Hoops Summer Workouts begin tomorrow. The gym will be open by 9:30 am and we will begin at 10.

*Extra sneakers (We will run outside if you don't want to use your basketball shoes)
DO NOT FORGET: You cannot begin participation in the weight room until you pass the Safety Quiz!
Rising 9th graders: Please sign up for High School alerts, I'm not going to continue sending High School Basketball information to the Middle School Team after today.
HS Men's Hoops
All rising 9th graders through rising Seniors at East Wake Academy are invited to join in on our summer workouts. Workouts will begin WEDNESDAY, JUNE 6th.
We will be here every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday in JUNE from 10:00am - 12noon.
