We are very excited to be hosting our middle school athletic award ceremony again this school year.  Each athlete will be able to bring two guests.  To register your guest you must fill out the following link (MS Athletic Award Ceremony Guest Form). Boosters and our local sponsors will be providing a dessert bar.

End of season celebration tomorrow (2/3) right after school. We will meet in Spirit hall. We will be having pizza tomorrow! Please plan on being picked up at 4:30 tomorrow.

It is so hard to believe this is our last week of basketball! Below is our schedule for this week. Please note Thursday will be a end of the season celebration for players. We will have pizza and celebrate our season of hard work! Players, please let me know by Tuesday if you are able to make it so I know how many pizzas to order.

Tuesday (2/1) - AWAY game @ Falls Lake Academy, 4:30 pm start/Dismissal 2:45 pm

Thursday (2/3)- End of season celebration pizza right after school

Reminder we will be having practice Wednesday (1/5), Thursday, and Friday this week from 3:45-5:15. Please make sure you are on time for pick up at 5:15. This is a time change from Decembers practices and will be this way for the remainder of the season unless high school has an away game.  I will be sending home the schedule for the remainder of the season this week with players. The schedules are posted in the google classroom as well.

Below you will find details for your arrival at Vance Charter today.

The teams may enter the gym at the rear of the building nearest the playground.  Below are a few housekeeping items:

-All spectators, coaches, and players must wear a mask at all times indoors

-Women’s team may enter the gym at 3:45 pm and spectators at 4 pm.

-Entry will be $5 for 6th graders and older.

-Please arrive in uniform

-Please bring a water bottle there will be water coolers available.

Hello Team, 

The game is on today at 5 pm as scheduled, however, due to still being out sick I will not be in attendance. Thank you to the middle school boys coaches, as they will be filling in for me and coaching our game. I wish I could be there tonight but I know the team will do great! Thank you all for being flexible this week, can't wait to get back out there with you all.

You will head to the gym right after carpool is finished! Please don't forget to bring your white jersey, shorts and shoes for the game. Doors will open at 4p.m. for spectators.

We are dressing up tomorrow, so please make sure you are following the dress code below:

Practice Monday 3:45-5:45 and Tuesday from 2-3:30

Parents/Athletes,

I am very excited to announce that Cameron Dixon has accepted the position as the MS girls basketball coach.  This is her second year working at EWA and she has moved from the HS girls assistant to fill this role.  Coach Dixon is going to be a great fit with this group of girls.  Unfortunately, she will not be able to begin practice until Thursday of this week.  This will lead to a change from my email yesterday.  There will be no practice Tuesday and Wednesday.

At the bottom of the email, you will find a link that shows you how to sign up for alerts from our athletic website (goewaeagles.org).  Once Coach Dixon gets acclimated, she will use this alert system to send out information and updates via text and email.
