East Wake Academy MS  Lily Ring Throws No-Hitter to Defeat Franklin Academy

Lily Ring was brilliant on the rubber on Tuesday, as she threw a no-hitter to lead East Wake Academy MS past Franklin Academy 13-0.

East Wake Academy MS got on the board in the first inning.  Kierston Perry hit into a fielder's choice, scoring one run.

Ring took the win for East Wake Academy MS 2022. The hurler went four innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out nine and walking zero.

East Wake Academy’s  Emma DeJoseph launched one home run on the first pitch of the second inning.

East Wake Academy racked up 12 hits in the game.  Ring, Ava Holiday, and DeJoseph all managed multiple hits for East Wake Academy MS 2022. 

Holiday and Ring each collected three hits to lead East Wake Academy.  East Wake Academy stole eight bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Brianna McCrea led the way with two.
